Change your secret question and answer

When you create a Windows Live Hotmail account, you can specify a secret question and answer to help you reset your password if you forget it. To help protect your Windows Live Hotmail account, you should periodically change your secret question and answer.
  1. Sign in to the Windows Live Hotmail website with your Windows Live ID.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Options, and then click More options.
  3. Under Manage your account, click View and edit your personal information.
  4. Next to Question, click Change.
  5. Type your password, select a question, and then type the answer to that question.
  6. Click Save.

You can also help protect your account by periodically changing your password.
