Change your display settings

You can customize the look of Windows Live Messenger, including how contacts are displayed and the fonts you use. You can also establish your offline message settings and where Messenger saves conversations on your computer.

To customize your display settings:

Select Tools, and then click Options.
In the left pane, click Messages.
Make selections based on how you want messages to appear, and how you want Messenger to respond when you receive messages from others.
Click OK.
