Blog (Short for weblog. The act of writing an online journal. Each entry typically contains personal thoughts and web links, with the newest entries listed first.) often to increase traffic to your space. You can blog from a computer or from a mobile device.
When you write a blog entry, you can format the text with different fonts, bold, italic, HTML (HyperText Markup Language. The language used to create World Wide Web pages with hyperlinks and markup for text formatting. Text formatting includes, but is not limited to, different heading styles, bold and italic text, numbered lists, and insertion of images.) tags, and emoticons (A representation of a facial expression used to indicate emotion.) . You can add a web address (Also called a URL. The location of a page on the World Wide Web.) to link to another web page. You can add a photo or embed a video.
To write a blog entry:
Make sure that you've signed in (To sign in with your Windows Live ID, click Sign in in the upper-right corner.) to Windows Live Spaces.
In the Blog module (A unit of information on your space. Modules include Blog, Profile, Lists, Photos, and more.) , click Add.
In the Title box, type the title of your blog entry. If your entry does not have a title, you can't save or publish it.
If you want, click the Category box, and then click a category (Categories help you organize your blog entries by topic.) for your entry.
Type your blog entry.
Format the text the way you want.
Click Preview entry to see how your blog entry will look to readers before you publish it.
Click Publish entry to publish this entry to your blog.

To save this entry without publishing it, click Save as draft.
Notes
To publish a blog entry that you saved as a draft, in the Blog module, click Summary. Click the title of the blog entry that you saved as a draft and then make any additional changes you may want. When you're ready, click Publish entry.
To delete an entry from your blog, open the entry, click Edit, and then click Delete entry.
You can use HTML tags to format your blog. Be sure to use both the opening and closing tags, or your blog entry may not be formatted the way that you want. For enhanced security, some tags, most notably scripts, will be removed from your blog before publishing. For more information, see About using HTML.
If you use image tags, the tags must link to an image hosted on the Web. You won't be able to link to an image on your computer.
