Purchase, renew, or cancel a OneCare online photo backup subscription
To use the OneCare online photo backup feature, you must purchase a subscription that is separate from your Windows Live OneCare subscription. With your OneCare online photo backup subscription, you receive 10 gigabytes (GB) of online storage space to use to back up your photos. Your subscription applies to any computer in your OneCare circle.
Important
To access your OneCare online photo backup, you must have a current OneCare subscription. If your OneCare subscription expires before your OneCare online photo backup subscription, make sure that you renew your OneCare subscription before your OneCare online photo backup subscription expires.
If you're prompted, sign in with your Windows Live ID (The user name and password that you use to sign in to any Windows Live, MSN, or Office Live sites and services. If you have a Passport Network, Hotmail, or Messenger account, you can use it as your Windows Live ID.) .
Under Your Services, click Windows Live OneCare Online Backup, and then click Renew this service.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Notes
Microsoft will send you an e-mail message to remind you of your subscription renewal 30 days before your subscription expires.
If you purchased your subscription with a credit card and you have your credit card on file with Microsoft Billing and Account Management, Microsoft will renew your subscription automatically on the renewal date.
If you purchased your online backup subscription on a different day than your OneCare subscription, you'll have different renewal dates for each subscription.
At the bottom of this Help page, click Get more help.
Click Get support.
Follow the on-screen instructions to contact OneCare Support and submit your request to cancel your subscription.
Note
After your subscription to OneCare online photo backup ends, you can access your online photo backup for an additional 30 days as long as you maintain a current OneCare subscription.
Note
To update your billing account information, visit Microsoft Billing and Account Management, and then sign in to your account with your Windows Live ID (The user name and password that you use to sign in to any Windows Live, MSN, or Office Live sites and services.
