About Live Mesh software updates

When you add a device to your mesh, a program called Live Mesh gets installed on that device. This software makes it possible for the Live Mesh service to communicate with your device and synchronize files and folders across your mesh. As new versions of the Live Mesh service are released, the Live Mesh software on your device must also be updated in order to keep working properly with the service.

If an update is available, you'll see a dialog box the next time you open the Live Mesh application on your Mac. You'll have the option to either skip or download the update. We strongly recommend downloading these updates to make sure you have the latest version of the Live Mesh software installed and your Mac continues to synchronize with other devices in your mesh.
